Thursday morning be here with a high of just 59 expected with some rain. Meanwhile hurricane Sara is picking up speed in the Caribbean and could come ashore next week in Florida. Just what they don’t need.

 

YESTERDAY

Twas a lazy, cloudy day here at the Whyte House which gave me time to scratch a whole bunch of things off a list of things that needed attention after being gone a week. It’s amazing how things stack up when you’re gone for a bit.

 

But I got through the list, and today I’m repacking for a show in Ohio Saturday night in Greensville, Ohio.



 

And this will start a period between now and February that’s not nearly as busy as it has been.

 

THE ROAD AHEAD

December 28…a Saturday… I have two shows with Lauren Mascitti at Main and Monroe in Lexington, Tennessee. 

 


 

 

Saturday January 28 a private house concert in Thompson Station, Tennessee with Lauren Mascitti an Wil Nance.

 


 

 

Saturday January 18 I’m with Linda Davis and Lang Scott in Kill Devils Hill, North Carolina.

 


 

 

Sunday January 19 in Myrtle Beach South Carolina with Linda and Lang as we get to play a show with some other great friends Darin & Brooke Aldridge.

Credit card debt has surged to another record high. It rose to $1.17 TRILLION during the third quarter and increase of 24 billion from the previous quarter. And it’s time to go Christmas shopping!

Vin Wardman, 92 years young did just that. And it was mostly built with items he bought off of E-Bay for under $400. Some great grandfathers are just cooler than others.

I’m online writing with the talented Brady Seals who was just inducted into the Ohio Country Music Hall of Fame a few weekends ago. Brady has been busy releasing new music, and a lot of those songs are tunes we’ve written together including the first single from his duo “Seals & Crofts 2” Running to the Sun.

Quiet New Year...Ray Stevens...A Look Back

BILL BLOG January 1, 2025   Wednesday…bring with it the very first day of a New Year. Time flies don’t it?   YESTERDAY A lazy New Year’s Eve day around the Whyte House. My wife and I called our daughter Heather over in Germany to wish her a Happy Birthday…yep a New Year’s Eve kid. She and her husband Casey were in a theme park in the Netherlands called “Efteling” to celebrate the occasion. The two of them took us there when we were over in Germany last year so in our minds at least…we could picture where they were at. More on the Germany trip at the end of today’s Blog in the “Looking Back” section.   TWEAKING I also spent a little time on the phone with producer-writer-singer Jerry Salley who is recording a song I helped write with my friend Andrea Pearson tweaking some lyrics of that song that young-talented bluegrass artist Caroline Owens is getting ready to record on her next album. A Duo Write...Wienermobile Applications...Love Tom

BILL BLOG Thursday December 19, 2024   Thursday morning has arrived and after some heavy rain here in Nashville yesterday it will cool off to a high of just 45 today.   YESTERDAY I had such a fun write with 2/3rds of the “ Three Times A Lady ” trio.   That would be Victoria Camp and a pregnant Kennedy Scott . Kennedy is due about the first of May of next year…and her baby bump is growing. She and the trio will be playing several weeks in a row at Dollywood come next March…so that will be an interesting challenge for her for sure.   And it was Kennedy who brought in a very cool idea that we wrote together after Victoria came up with an almost “swampy” kind of melody to fit under the lyrics. Got a pretty good feeling this one will be on their next album. Yep, a good day.   SONG OF THE DAY I’ve posted this song before but it seems appropriate to make it today’s song of the day after talking about the “Three Times A Lady”. ...
