Hump Day! And suddenly, it’s a lot cooler in Nashville. Today’s high will only be 71 degrees.
Meanwhile, there are frost warnings already for Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Wow.
And the folks in southern California are bracing for Hurricane Polo, a category 5 hurricane at the moment.
YESTERDAY
I wrote with my friend Kristen Bearfield, and for the first time wrote with her talented boyfriend, Andy Davis. Kristen plays in the all-girl gospel group “High Road,” while Andy has traveled the world as a utility player (playing multiple instruments) for The Band Perry when they were huge, and now with the hit Contemporary Christian Artist Ann Wilson. So Andy has played in some very big arenas with some big folks
And it was Andy who brought a really fun song idea to the table, “God Must Be Laughing.” Kristen knows me well, and she thought I’d be a great fit for this tune. And I’m glad she did. We had so much fun writing it. It has a really nice message, and it will make ya smile at the same time.

WE’VE GONE HARDBACK!
Congrats to my author-wife Kathy, who got some great news about her book “Subtle Frequency.” Her book publisher, Indigo River, let her know that they were going to publish hardback editions of her book. And that’s a pretty big deal in the book world.
A hardback edition will look good on our bookshelf, and it will look good on yours as well. I’ll let you know when that will be available. You can get a paperback version right now, at anywhere they sell books.

I like candy corn, but I like the smell of this perfume even more.
