BILL BLOG Wednesday, April 1, 2026 It’s the first day of April, and it’s a “hump day” Wednesday. We will hit a high of 83 in Nashville today, but by Sunday, the high will be only 62. And, it’s April Fool’s Day. Beware. YESTERDAY I had a great day writing with Brady Seals , Spencer Hatcher , and his younger brother, Connor , yesterday. It was the second song this foursome has written. The first time we gathered, we wrote a duet; this one is a fun up-tempo country song along the lines of Alan Jackson or Zach Top . The kind of “real” country that seems to be returning to country radio, and that’s refreshing to hear. Spencer is an artist on Quartz Hill Records , and that’s the kind of young artist he is…country.
