BILL BLOG Tuesday July 8, 2025   Tuesday morning, back at home in Music City. We’ll hit 88 for a high with rain today, and it looks like a chance of rain all week. We’ve had more rainy days than I can ever remember having here in Nashville through the first half of 2025.   YESTERDAY It was all about getting home from Missouri. And I did, with some great memories from the weekend of two shows back home in the Show Me State.   Yesterday, as I wrapped up my trip, I had so much fun at the Florida Winery and Resort that my musical friends Will Denton   And Becky Denton manages.   Can’t wait to go back there again one day.   NEXT SHOW I’ll be in Shiloh, Illinois, for a third time on August 1 and 2 with Freedom Sings USA to write songs with veterans once again. And on August 2, myself and the songwriters you see on the poster below, will perform those songs to honor these veterans in a free concert.   ...

BILL BLOG Monday July 7, 2025   Monday morning and I’m on the way home from Missouri to Nashville.   THE WEEKEND I made the 6-hour trip home to Missouri from Nashville Friday, and I stayed with a longtime friend, Dodge Raymer , who went with me to the two shows I had here in the Show Me State. Dodge has been part of my family for many years, and his wife, Dean , who passed a few years ago, was my manager when I was young, and a second Mom to me. We surely do miss her.   SATURDAY Dodge and I drove about an hour to reach the town of Louisiana, Missouri, which sits on the rolling Mississippi River and was the home of the first-ever Liberty Fest 4 th of July event in that town.   It was 4 th of July HOT for sure. BILL BLOG Thursday July 4, 2025    And a Happy 4 th of July Thursday to you all. I’ve got a guitar and a bag packed for a trip to Missouri for two shows this 4 th of July weekend.   And it’s going to be 4 th of July warm with temps in the mid-90s. I need a pair of air-conditioned jeans for my outdoor shows!   YESTERDAY It was a fairly quiet day at the Whyte House, outside of preparing for the road trip that I just mentioned. But I did quietly celebrate my wife Kathy’s birthday yesterday. I’ve been blessed to share a few with her.   I know, I know. I married way up.   And I happy that my wife is about to reap some rewards for her hard work writing her first ever book that is about to be released in just a couple or three short months and will be available worldwide. BILL BLOG Wednesday July 3, 2025    It’s the first Hump Day in July, and it’s the 4 th of July Eve. Let the fireworks begin.   Sunny with a high of 89 today, then up into the 90s for the holiday weekend. 4 th of July weather for sure.   YESTERDAY I wrote something really fun with Victoria Camp and Kennedy Scott yesterday, two of the female vocalists in the all-girl trio Three Times A Lady .   One of those song ideas that takes some pot shots at the boy that had the three of us laughing a lot as we were creating it.   Both girls do shows as solo artists, as well as doing shows with the trio. They recently did a residency for a couple of months over at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, singing songs of “The Trio” that featured Dolly , Emmylou, and Linda Ronstadt .   It was a fun day at the writing office for sure with those two.     SONG OF THE DAY And since I wrote with the “Three Times A Lady trio ...

We’ll have a high of 85 with some rain in Music City today.   YESTERDAY A fairly lazy day at the Whyte House yesterday, the first day of July. With no writing appointment, I worked on putting together a song list for the 2 shows I’ll have in Missouri this coming 4 th of July weekend. Just a 1-hour show this Sunday at Liberty Fest in Louisiana, Missouri.    Then a 2-hour show at the Florida Winery and Resort in Stoutsville, Missouri, on Sunday, July 6.     For complete details on those two shows, just go to the tour section here on my website.   UNREAL CHART NEWS Yesterday, to my complete amazement, I landed THREE gospel-bluegrass songs I helped write on the Christian Voice Magazine bluegrass-gospel chart, known as the CVM chart.
